This Privacy Policy describes how Sean Studies LLC, operating Pillar Test Prep and its product Pillar Planner (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and stores information when you use Pillar Planner. We take your privacy seriously and aim to be transparent about what we collect and why.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google's OAuth service.
We store the information you enter into the app to provide the service, including:
If you use the image upload feature in the Error Log, the image file is stored in Supabase Storage (hosted on Amazon Web Services in the us-east-2 region). Uploaded images are stored in a private storage bucket - files are not publicly accessible. Images are served to you through short-lived signed URLs that are generated at access time and expire automatically. Only your account can access your uploaded images. You can remove an uploaded image at any time by editing or deleting the associated error log entry.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Basic usage data (such as when you last logged in) may be captured as part of normal database operations (e.g., updated_at timestamps).

Your data is stored in Supabase, a database platform hosted on Amazon Web Services in the us-east-2 (Ohio) region. We use Supabase's built-in row-level security policies to ensure that your data is only accessible to your own account. Administrative staff (Pillar Prep employees with access to the admin panel) can view aggregated usage statistics and completion data for the purpose of student support.
No system is 100% secure. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, email us at sean@pillartestprep.com with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that uploaded images stored in Supabase Storage will also be deleted upon account deletion.
Pillar Planner is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
